For most individuals and families in Eagle County\, Anthem Blue Cross is the only individual carrier available.\n\n \n\nHowever\, there is some very good news to share for Eagle County residents. The State Innovation Waiver Reinsurance Program was passed by the Colorado Legislature in 2019 and signed into law by Governor Polis on May 17\, 2019. What does that mean for residents of Eagle County? With the passing of this bill\, Anthem was able to lower their individual rates in our county by approximately 28 percent\; that will translate to big savings next year!\n\n \nPeter Martin\, owner/President\, Martin Insurance Group\, said\, "While rates for employer-based plans remain relatively stable\, you should still consult with an agent to see if you have the best plan for your employees. There are some unique savings opportunities for companies in Eagle County that are involved in the construction industry\, as well as engineering firms.
