SUMMARY:Eagle and Gypsum Chamber Joint Mixer at Habitat Restore in Gypsum!
DESCRIPTION:Scroll below for photos!\n\n\n\nMembers and guests from both the Eagle and Gypsum Chambers embarked on an evening of unforgettable camaraderie\, as they were warmly welcomed to an After Hours Mixer hosted by Habitat Restore Vail Valley. The event was made even more memorable by the generous Co-Hosts Hood Insurance Agency and Gallegos Corporation. Enticing food\, beverages\, invaluable networking opportunities\, retail therapy and an abundance of giveaways were the cornerstones of this enjoyable soiree. \n\n\n\nRestore Manager Ann Logel expressed to the crowd that they accept donations of gently used furniture\, building materials and housewares. The sale of these items raises funds for Habitat for Humanity's homebuilding efforts and keeps usable materials out of our landfills. \n\n\n\nHabitat Vail Valley is currently under construction on eight homes in Stratton Flats in Gypsum. They are also working on their first modular construction project that will bring 16 homes to Eagle through a partnership with Eagle County School District. \n\n\n\nAnn extended a big thank you to Patty Hood and Edgar Chairez of Hood Insurance Agency and Gallegos Corporation for Co-Hosting the event with them. Both Co-hosts have been long time supporters of Habitat. Gallegos specifically donates materials and labor each year\, even inviting families out to their stone yard to pick out the counter tops for their homes. \n\n\n\nHighlights of the evening included a generously proportioned charcuteries board\, teeming with delectable cheeses\, artisanal crackers\, fresh fruits and mouthwatering snacks. For those with a sweet tooth\, there was no shortage of treats to savor. The giveaways ranged from Habitat gift cards to an exquisite marble stone-etched cheese board\, elusive bottles of fine wine and tequila to the glorious grand prize: a well-deserved stay at the opulent Grand Hyatt in Vail. \n\n\n\nWhile it's worth noting that no purchase was necessary\, the Habitat Restore had a special HARVEST SALE "Falling prices" on offer for the following week.\n\n\n\nAttendees caught up with old friends and established new connections as the event was marked as a resounding success. The evening encompassed around 75 Members and their guests in attendance\, along with those who expressed keen interest in joining the vibrant Chambers of Commerce. The evening was a true testament to the strength of the local community with boundless networking and collaboration. \n\n\n\nA heartfelt round of applause is owed to the individuals who made this gathering possible. Caitlin\, Ann\, Heather and their Habitat Restore team\, Edgar Chairez and Patty Hood of Hood Insurance Agency as well as Dan White\, Sharon Huffman and their team from Gallegos Corporation. Enthusiastic Eagle Chamber Ambassadors\, always on que to assist and help guide Members into the many connections that bind our community included Pattie White of Alpine Snow Removal\, Rhonda Tatham of First Bank\, Jessie Steinmetz of Edward Jones and Pauline Araujo Agoitia of Always Mountain Time Media. \n\n\n\nFinally\, last\, although not at all least\, the vital and tireless Gypsum Chamber Board of Directors including Susan O'Brien of Colorado On-Site Veterinary Services\, Kendra Barton of US Bank and Scott Stilwell of Cornerstone Insurance and Financial Group. Everyone enjoyed getting to know the Gypsum Chamber's Member associate\, Diana Ramirez.
