Bringing the community together during the winter to meet\, great and visit many local businesses. In recent years the Eagle Chamber has expanded the parade\, added live music and a bonfire in the park.\n\n3rd Annual WASSAILFEST!\n\nWhat is Wassail (sounds like 'wassle')?\n\nIn Old English\, the word meant 'be you healthy'\; it came to be known as hot mulled cider\, traditionally drunk during wassailing\, a medieval ritual intended to ensure a good cider apple harvest the following year.\n\n What do you do during Eagle Wassailfest?\n\nDrink Wassail of course ? to the ?health? of Eagle! From December 1-3\, local Eagle businesses will serve up their own secret version of Wassail.\n\nWassailers are encouraged to taste at least 12 types of Wassail at different locations and fill their ?12 Sips of Wassail Card.? Once the card is completed (each entry validated by the participating business) guests are encouraged to take their cards to Circle-A Auto Repair by Friday\, December 1\, 5 p.m. and receive a hand-made ornament. On Saturday\, bring the completed cards to parade central from 4 - 5:30 p.m. to receive an ornament\; while they last!\n\n\n\nThe winning business will be awarded the coveted Eagle Wassailfest trophy\, which is held for one year.
