A Toast To Tradition
Since 2015, Wassailfest has warmed hearts and storefronts throughout Eagle. The word "wassail" (pronounced wassle) comes from Old English meaning "be you healthy". It began centuries ago as a cheerful ritual wishing good fortune for the coming year.
Our reigning 2025 Wassail-Meister, Capitol Market holds the coveted Wasailfest Trophy and our beloved mascot, "Andy the Wassail Squirrel", named in honor of Andy Jessen of Bonfire Brewing - a symbol of Eagle's community spirit and joy.
