Remote work is a major trend, but flexible work arrangements have been around for as long as working mothers have picked up their children from school, children have taken care of their aging parents, and powder days have - on occasion - taken precedence over early morning meetings. Since few Eagle Valley businesses can make remote work, we need a different approach: A Flexible Work Arrangement Policy provides employers the opportunity to develop options for their employees that will work as long-term solutions for the business. While, ultimately, the objective is to help reduce emissions, each policy will be different in order to allow each business to meet its bottom line. Collectively, our business community can find solutions that work- not just for our lively and bustling local economy, but for the planet too! Attend this workshop to learn what to include in your business's Flexible Work Arrangement Policy, how to best establish that policy, and who to involve in both the process and implementation of this transformative change. This workshop will consist of a 60-minute presentation, followed by a 60-minute interactive work session and discussion to foster collaboration on best practices.
