Why participate?
Participating in Wassailfest is a great way to bring people through your doors and spotlight your business during one of Eagle's most beloved winter traditions.
Participating businesses receive:
- 4-6 weeks of community-wide ongoing promotion through Eagle Chamber and partner digital marketing.
- Your business name featured on the official Wassailfest voter card.
- Increased foot traffic from locals and visitors sampling and voting for their favorite wassail.
- Opportunities to win the title of WassailMeister and display the traveling trophy!
- Connection with fellow businesses and the community in a festive, feel-good way

This year, we're introducing sponsorship opportunities that include your business logo featured on all Wassailfest digital marketing platforms and on the official voter card. Sponsorships are limited and available on a first-come basis - secure yours early!
To sponsor, simply complete the registration form here and check the sponsorship option box at the bottom. If you would like to sponsor only (and not serve wassail), just make a quick note on your form. Email the completed form to Taun Sanders at circlea@live.com.
Donate a Gift Certificate
Another great way to participate is by donating a gift certificate from your business!
Gift certificates will be awarded to Wassailers who visit at least 12 participating businesses and submit their voter cards.
This not only supports the event - it drives traffic back into your business when winners come in to redeem their prize.
To donate, simply note your donation on the registration form or reach out to Patty Hood at hoodinsurance@allinsgrp.com or Taun Sanders at circlea@live.com.
Your contribution helps keep the excitement flowing and encourages more shoppers to explore local businesses!
What Happens at Wassailfest
Wassailers visit participating businesses to sample their special wassail and vote for their favorite.
- Voter cards are available at participating businesses.
- Those who visit 12 or more locations can turn in their cards for a chance to win prizes and the grand prize drawing!
- Prize giveaways, while supplies last, will take place on Saturday, December 6th in conjunction with Christmas on Broadway.
A Toast to Tradition
Wassailfest has been warming hearts in our community since 2015.
"Wassail" (pronounced wassle)comes from Old English meaning "be you healthy". It's a hot, spiced cider shared in celebration and good cheer.
2024's reigning WassailMeister is Canela Coffee & Pastry Shop, holding the coveted Wassailfest Trophy and our beloved mascot "Andy the Wassail Squirrel," named in honor of the memory of Andy Jessen of Bonfire Brewing.
