Eagle Chamber Ribbon-cutting Event - Vail Valley Unbound

Vail Valley Unbound's Grand Opening was presented to a crowd of friends, supporters, educators and parents of the opening school’s students. Owner and co-founder Cassie Boca had a plethora of bright, multi-colored balloons marking the entrance to Vail Valley Unbound school of which was about to be opened for the first time, for the 2023-2024 school year for K-5 students.
“What a joyous occasion it is to stand here and celebrate such a significant milestone for Vail Valley Unbound,” Cassie announced. “We’re here to mark the beginning of a new chapter filled with progress, innovation and education. I’m so grateful to welcome each and everyone of you here to this ribbon-cutting."
“Today we celebrate the start of something new but we’re just getting started", Cassie continued. "As excited as I am for today, I’m so excited for what’s to come. This school is meant to far outlive my children’s education and all of these kids’ education and to reach much further than the students that are fortunate enough to go here. This space and organization will serve local children in so many ways. We’re a learner driven community that aims to inspire, facilitate and guide our young learners to find their quality to maintain a lifelong love of learning. We envision a community of young learners with a passion for learning, a growth mindset that allows them to view failure as one step in their process and the confidence to know that they can impact the world with authenticity."
With heartfelt gratitude, Cassie proclaimed that every single person here at this event is so important. "Like every adventure it wouldn’t have been possible alone. We have so many people to thank.”
Some of the people and organizations Cassie thanked were:
Heather McMahon, co-founder and lead guide to Vail Valley Unbound
High Altitude Construction
Kris Miller
Vail Valley Unbound Board Members
Eagle River Watershed
Mountain Rec
Alpine Arts
Walking Mountain Science Center
“It's not just the school starting and this ribbon-cutting”, Cassie concluded, “but we have a ton of upcoming community events we’re going to start planning. Our journey is just getting started. Our mission extends beyond the learners at our school way into our community that will cause ripple effects way beyond our community. With a mission like that, we can’t do it alone. We are a 501c(3) and we need everyone’s help. To date it’s been Zak and I, but please know we need everyone’s help in the various ways that they can contribute. It is a community effort. And, parents, we thank you so much for trusting us with your babies!”
