Independence Day Fireworks

We love any excuse for fireworks!

Join the Gypsum Town Council and Staff for a community-wide Independence Day celebration at Lundgren! Enjoy an evening filled with live music, FREE hot dogs and popsicles (while supplies last, courtesy of the Town Council), lawn games, and—of course—a festive fireworks show to close out the night.

This annual event is one of the Lower Valley’s favorite Independence Day traditions, bringing together residents from Gypsum, Eagle, and the surrounding communities for music, food, and family-friendly fun. Bring a blanket or lawn chair, settle in on the grass, and enjoy a relaxed summer evening with friends and neighbors as we celebrate together.

Enjoy a lively outdoor performance from Ninety2K, a popular band known for playing upbeat favorites from the 1990s and 2000s—perfect for kicking back on the lawn or getting up to dance. The evening will also include a brief acknowledgment of the statewide America 250 – Colorado 150 effort, recognizing upcoming national and state milestone anniversaries.
