Mystery On Broadway: Riddle at the Racetrack

For sheer spectacle, atmosphere and excitement, the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs is a tradition that is hard to beat. Race days have been drawing appreciative crowds for centuries and Churchill Downs has long been regarded as one of the finest race tracks in the United States and the best place for horse racing in Kentucky.

Today it’s the kickoff of the Triple Crown and the Kentucky Derby. The stands are full and race day is in full swing, when disaster strikes… not once, but twice!

In the Owner’s Suite Evan Bett, one of the racetrack event managers, has been found dead. And in the Foyer, the newly cast Derby Trophy has been stolen!

Investigating the case is Detective Rae Strax, but with the recent cutbacks in the police force, her department is trying something new… she’s called in the general public and she wants YOU to interrogate the suspects, review the clues and solve the case. Are the theft and the murder connected? Only you can decide.

Join EagleARTS for our award-winning immersive arts experience where Broadway Street in Historic Downtown Eagle will be transformed into the crime scene and you will have the opportunity to hear the alibis of our suspects located inside various businesses and ask them questions before making your guess as to the killer is. Keep an eye out for important clues, too.

Once you know whodunnit, turn in your guess at our after-party at FOODsmith on Broadway for food and drinks while waiting to hear whodunnit. Food will be available and guests will receive one drink ticket. Additional beverages will be available for purchase. You can arrive any time before 6:00 and still have time to complete the entire game live. Alibis will also be available to watch via video if you missed any interview session.
