Celebrate Oktoberfest at Sweetwater Creek Ranch with live music with award winning musician David Jeremy, traditional Bavarian food and beverages, friendly faces and tours of the property.
Nestled at the confluence of Sweetwater Creek and the Colorado River, this property has been a landmark gathering place for generations, with irrigated hay meadows, cottonwood-lined river bottom, and protected open lands on three sides. Many will remember it as the Anderson Camps, who built a substantial infrastructure, main lodge, bunk-style cabins, bath house, amphitheater and recreational hall. Today, the ranch has been re-imagined—now as a high-end retreat, with year-round access for outdoorsmen, anglers, families and a beautiful place for weddings, as well as offering catering services.
The ranch is home to On River Time, a 501c3 non-profit that ministers to children who are survivors of abuse and neglect. Each summer and winter, On River Time hosts its annual camps for kids, ages 12-18, as well as its SOAR retreat for its college-age young people. Sweetwater Creek Ranch was founded to not only serve guests who wish to step off the grid and rebalance, but to serve big and bold within local, national and global communities fighting abuse and neglect.
