GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
Independently the client engagement manager performs client and prospect engagement activities using the consultative methodology in a Business to Consumer market to support client acquisition, retention, and revenue generation for Altitude AV.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for management of assigned client accounts to include engagement, retention, project planning and solution development.
- Engage existing and prospective clients using consultative selling methodology to allow for creative and innovative solutions that create a unique experience.
- Perform necessary research to identify and present a solution that meets the needs and goals of the client.
- Support business growth through effective networking and business development activities.
- Collaborate with owner to support marketing initiatives and provide feedback and insight into Audio Video service purchasing behaviors in the local and national market.
- Responsible for direct customer engagement by building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Responsible for management and execution of the proposal lifecycle to include development, review with appropriate members of the team, customization to meet client requirements, accurate pricing and timely delivery to the client.
- This will require at times onsite visits to prospect sites and venues.
- Update and capture Statement of Work (SOW) for each event project.
- Respond to inbound service requests and build quotes.
- Use existing database and service database to build scope of work and costs.
- Negotiate and close sales agreement.
- Responsible for developing and applying comprehensive product knowledge of the services and solutions of the company.
- Must remain current with the latest audio video products, technologies, and trends.
- Design, develop, and deliver effective Service Capabilities Presentations to include product and service examples, visual and technical explanations to potential and existing clients.
- Process inbound sales orders accurately, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- This includes modifications, revisions, and updates to orders and communicating status through company sales and customer relationship management systems.
- Responsible for performing post service delivery follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues that arise post-sale and service delivery.
- Prepare and provide weekly and monthly client engagement, sales performance and pipeline progress to goals reports. Collaborate with Owner to develop and implement effective Key Performance Indicators to drive success for the company.
- Attend and actively participate in and contribute to weekly and monthly client, sales, operations, and other management meetings to ensure continuous engagement and collaboration.

- Identify and communicate competitive market data collected through the execution of the essential functions of this role to other members of management.
- As appropriate, present a business case for process improvement opportunities that will benefit the organization, the team, and the customer.
- Provide feedback and insight into the success of the proposal process and make recommendations for improving sales close rates.
- Carries out duties in compliance with all federal and state regulations and guidelines.
- Successfully completes regulatory and job training requirements.
- Complies with all company and site policies and procedures.
- Remains current in profession and industry trends.
- Makes a positive contribution as demonstrated by: making suggestions for improvement and learning new skills, procedures and processes.
- Is available for other duties as required.
- Is available for overtime as needed.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- None
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, sales management or related field required; or four (4) years of professional sales or client engagement experience.
- Must have three (3) years of direct B2C sales experience.
- Must have two (2) years of experience in the audio visual production service industry.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Read and interpret documents such as sales plans, proposals, quotes, service requests, and standard operating procedure manuals.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES OR QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrate mastery of the consultative selling methodology.
- Demonstrated experience in the audio visual industry.
- Demonstrated experience building symbiotic relationships for client engagement and retention.
- Computer skills: Work and be proficient with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Work and be proficient with Google Workspace and Gmail. Work and be proficient with Customer Relationship Management tools.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining speed of work and attention to detail without loss to production.
- Ability to work with others in a team environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

- The employee is occasionally required to sit and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds unassisted.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $27.50 per hour
