Eagle Chamber Invites Community to Volunteer for Haymaker Trail Stewardship Evening
EAGLE, Colo. - The Eagle Chamber of Commerce is inviting community members to roll up their sleeves and join Eagle Chamber Ambassadors for an evening of volunteer trail maintenance on Wednesday, September 16, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Haymaker Trail in Eagle.
As part of the Chamber's long-standing commitment to community stewardship, the Eagle Chamber has proudly adopted Haymaker Trail through years of volunteer service with Vail Valley Mountain Trails Alliance (VVMTA). This effort brings together Eagle Chamber Members, local businesses, residents and outdoor enthusiasts to help maintain one of Eagle's treasured recreational assets while strengthening community connections.
Participants will work alongside VVMTA leaders on a variety of projects designed to improve the trail for everyone who enjoys it. No prior trail maintenance experience is necessary - just a willingness to contribute to and work as part of a team.
This is one of our favorite opportunities to give back to the community. Our trails are an important part of what makes Eagle such a special place to live, work and visit. We encourage anyone looking to make a positive impact, earn volunteer hours, or simply spend an enjoyable evening with others to join us.
Volunteers are encouraged to wear closed-toe shoes and bring water, sunscreen, snacks, work gloves, sunglasses and long pants.
